Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join our leadership team and drive the operational efficiency and strategic growth of our firm. In this pivotal role, you will manage daily operations, optimize business processes, and help guide the organization through its continued growth while ensuring a premier client experience.

As COO, you will be responsible for shaping and refining the operational framework of the firm to support scalability, efficiency, and long-term success. Working closely with the CEO, you will align operational strategies with the company's vision, lead key initiatives, and oversee a variety of essential functions, including administration, compliance, and support teams. Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Innovation:

Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to implement the firm's strategic business plan, aligning operational goals with company culture and vision.
Develop and oversee firm-wide policies to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
Lead administrative and support functions such as compliance, human resources, and financial controls.
Design scalable operational frameworks to support growth, fostering flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Optimize organizational structures to improve efficiency and operational excellence.
Operational Excellence:

Establish metrics-driven accountability across teams to ensure operational efficiency and high performance.
Lead the development of streamlined processes and systems that drive productivity and accountability.
Oversee technology initiatives to enhance operational capabilities and maintain a competitive edge.
Partner with the finance team to manage budgets, billing, facilities, and vendor relationships.
Assume a leadership role in compliance and quality control, ensuring adherence to industry standards.
Client Experience:

Champion the firm's commitment to providing exceptional client service by establishing and maintaining quality control systems.
Coordinate with various teams (advisory, client service, investment management, and marketing) to ensure seamless communication and client interactions.
Lead initiatives that drive growth and enhance client satisfaction, contributing to overall firm goals.
Strategic Growth Initiatives:

Identify and evaluate acquisition opportunities, conducting both operational and financial due diligence.
Work closely with leadership to integrate new teams, advisors, and clients effectively.
Expand the firm's presence in new markets and strengthen its position as a leader in wealth management for ultra-high-net-worth families.
Human Resources Operations & Team Development:

Oversee all aspects of the Human Capital program, including benefits, policies, and compliance with labor laws.
Partner with the People and Culture team to attract, onboard, and develop top talent that aligns with the firm's core values.
Manage and develop teams across operations, technology, finance, and compliance functions.
Required Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Chief Operating Officer, Director of Operations, or in a comparable leadership role within a financial services firm.
Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in financial services, wealth management, or a related field.
In-depth knowledge of operations, compliance, data analysis, and performance metrics within financial services.
Expertise in operational best practices, information technology, and project management.
Experience working with business owners on succession planning and liquidity events.
Excellent communication, business development, and presentation skills.
Strong attention to detail, commitment to quality, and focus on client satisfaction.
Exceptional leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to develop and manage cross-functional teams.
A deep understanding of business functions such as HR, finance, technology, operations, and compliance.
Experience in strategic planning, business development, and data analysis.
