Who You Are Reports to and receives assignments, instructions, and direction from the Foreman, General Foreman, or Manufacturing plant management. Reads and interprets instructions and plans work activities. Moves materials and equipment to work locations and performs a wide range of clean-up and housekeeping activities. Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment. Performs other duties and activities as directed. This is a contingent position based on contract award. What You'll Do As a Custodian, you will: + Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning, etc). + Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects. + Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs. + Maintain Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure that all installations and repairs meet or exceed the set standards. + Facilitate Team Communication: Ensure clear and consistent communication within the team and with other project stakeholders to keep everyone informed and aligned on project goals and updates. + Other duties as required Qualifications: + 5+ years of proven working experience as a janitor. + Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies. + Integrity and ability to work independently. + Attention to Detail: Precision and attention to detail to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with safety standards. + Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing conditions, technologies, and requirements. Clearance: Must possess an active U.S Government Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility required. Willingness to take a polygraph and upgrade clearance as required. Basic Compensation: $17.47/hr. - $26.15/hr. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity. Additional Compensation: KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation.
