Job Description

Work as a team to provide support to physicians in the outpatient practice setting.

Principal Accountabilities:

1. Room patients during clinic hours, take vitals as needed, assist physicians/PA and document in EMR.

2. Answer phones and make appts.

3. Take accurate messages and route appropriately.

4. Assisted with rotated responsibilities per practice task board.

5. Support other Morristown area practices if needed.

6. Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:
1. HS Diploma or equivalent
2. EMT certification and/or nursing assistant certification

Preferred:
1. Strong interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written
2. Patient, compassionate nature
3. Ability to operate as part of a team, alongside physicians and nurses
4. Proficiency in computer-based data management programs and information systems
