Job Title: Security Guard
Shift: 3rd shift 11pm-7am
Pay: $19/hr
Education & Experience
High school diploma or GED required; 2+ years of security, law enforcement, military, or related experience preferred
Certifications & Licensing
Must meet state/local licensing for unarmed security (e.g., guard card)
First Aid/CPR certification preferred; fire-watch or industrial safety credentials a plus
Skills & Abilities
Strong observational skills with attention to detail
Effective communication skills—verbal and written—for incident reporting and coordination
Competency with radios, basic security technology, and computers/tablets
Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure during emergencies
Physical Requirements
Must be able to stand, walk, climb stairs, and patrol indoors/outdoors for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally
Work Conditions
Willingness to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays
Comfortable working in industrial environments, including near machinery and potential chemical exposure
Background Checks
Must pass criminal background check and drug screening
U.S. citizenship or legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required
