**About this role:** Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Independent Testing Specialist in Independent Testing & Validation (IT&V) Consumer Lending group within the Corporate Risk organization. Learn more about the career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com ( . **In this role, you will:** + Lead or participate in moderate to high risk or complex review activities in a matrixed environment and communicate emerging risks to management within Independent Testing + Contribute to large scale planning related to Independent Testing deliverables + Review and research moderately complex potential corrective actions, and follow through on reporting, escalation, and resolution + Ensure effective and appropriate testing, validation, and documentation of review activities for risk programs and controls according to standards and other applicable policies + Resolve moderately complex issues and lead team to meet Independent Testing deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of risk management framework and the risk and control environment + Collaborate and consult with colleagues, internal partners, management and lines of business regarding risk management **Required Qualifications:** + 4+ years of Independent Testing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education **Desired Qualifications:** + Prior experience within a testing function such as internal or external audit. + Full testing lifecycle experience that includes determining scope, designing test scripts, executing tests, identifying and escalating issues and risks, and documenting and reporting results. + Outstanding problem solving and decision-making skills. + a BS/BA degree or higher. + Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. + Can expertly evaluate both the adequacy and effectiveness of policies, procedures, processes, systems and internal controls, while analyzing business and/or systems changes to determine impact. + Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills. + Critical Thinking and Analytical skills. + Strong organization and prioritization skills. + Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment. + Strong relationship management skills: ability to negotiate difficult positions without harming relationships. + Ability to research trends and analyze data. **Job Expectations:** + This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship. + This position offers a hybrid work schedule. + Willingness to work on-site at stated location on the job opening. **Posting Locations:** + 401 S.
